Map A – No Action Alternative (no map provided) - This map would not establish a designated route network and would continue existing travel management policies.
Map B – Access Alternative - This map proposes to establish a designated route network that maximizes motorized and non-motorized access across public lands.
Map C – Proposed Alternative - This map proposes to establish a designated route network that is in-between Alternatives B and D.
Map D – Preservation Alternative - This map proposes to establish a designated route network that maximizes the protection of natural, cultural, and scenic resource values of the public lands. (Most Restrictive Motorized Travel)

The following documents contain specific information for each route within the La Posa Travel Management Area. The zip file contains a 130M files with all the reports. The additional files break out in smaller collections of routes. You can use the maps to identify the route(s) you are interested in and then download the smaller document.
When submitting a comment related to the La Posa Travel Management Plan route designations, the public is encouraged to make comments as specific as possible. For comments relating to individual routes, the comment form must include the LP# associated with the route of concern (LP#’s can be found on the sub-section maps). Comments may be submitted via mail, email, or dropped off at the Yuma Field Office. You can download the comment form below. Please contact the Yuma Field Office to receive electronic copies (CD) of the sub-section maps.
After the completion of the 30-day public comment period, BLM will review and analyze all public comments to determine if changes need to be made. BLM will develop the La Posa Travel Management Plan and Environmental Assessment (EA) based on staff and public comments.
